Heading for Region F this Thursday. Can anyone offer the following:
Weather report/Hunt success/Pics of some heads from area

First time out West...first time with a guide. I would appreciate any and all input/advice/suggestions.

By the way: Rain, wind, and 54 degrees in Fort Worth, TX.

I thought there was a post on this forum from a big buck contest at a truck dealership from up there. Maybe see if somebody could tell you what that post was called.

As far as advice, if you're used to hunting around Ft. Worth, practice shooting somewhere other from the bench. You won't have the luxury of a box blind to rest your gun on out there, and the steep canyons make it harder to judge distance, though your guide should help with that. Maybe look into some shooting sticks.

Other than that, bring layers of clothes, goretex overlayers, and no cotton. Make sure your boots are broken in.
