LAST EDITED ON Nov-02-05 AT 12:22PM (MST)[p]I was woundering how many out there have taken a kid out this year to introduce them to the world of hunting.
My brother and I have been fortunate in our hunting lifes to have access to some great hunting area and we try to spread the wealth with youth hunter that my not get the chance or just have not been able to draw for somereason.
This year we took a freind's nephew out for his first hunt and it was truely a great experience. I will be looking forward next year for my freinds son' first shot. :D tried to post pic no luck to jpeg to big

Took my son out and helped him get his first buck. Took my nephew out and helped him score his first buck.

Took my 7 year old daughter deer hunting a few times and my 20 month old son (we drove around glassing).

So yeah I have taken kids and introduced them into the outdoors.

Yeah, took my 10 year old on a few hunts this year :) Not bad for his first year, huh? Sorry for the repeat pics, I'm just a little bit proud.

My son is 5 and he has hunted with me the last 3 years. That's all he can talk about when it gets close to hunting season. He's a real trooper walking and hiking with me with no complaining. This year my wife picked him up from camp after I got my deer so he wouldn't miss to much school and I really missed him not being by my side the last couple of days of the hunt. It's as good for me as it is him.
