Vernon 05 Limited Entry Success

I have heard and read a number of Book Cliffs 2005 success stories, however, I am interested in knowing how successfull hunters were who hunted the Vernon Unit this year. Is it worth putting in for or is the Book Cliffs by far the better draw?

I dont know anything about the Vernon unit, but I have drawn tags in the Book Cliffs in 2002 and 2005. I love to hunt out there. There are plenty of deer and you will see hundreds of bucks. It will be difficult to shoot anything over 27", but they ARE out there. There is lots of different types of terrain to hunt, whether it be in aspen trees, junipers, high pine, or lowland sage. Anytime you get out of the truck and walk a couple hundred yards you will be all alone. Good luck on whatever you choose!

Hey Tisoykeis, since you are a Grantsville boy, you better stick close to your home area with the Vernon hunt. (J/K)
