La Sal Limited Entry Elk

I am a newbie to the site. Enjoy all the info on the different topics, thought I would give it a shot. Anyone familiar with the La Sal area near Moab. I know someone that has a tag and was wondering what part of the mountain has the most elk. Just looking for some info nobody's honey holes nothing to specific. I was told to check the northeast end towards Dolores triangle? Any info would help. I realize there is not alot of talk on this site about the unit, but what the heck it is worth a shot. Thanks

Taylors flat (south/east side) and Sallys hallow always have a good herd .

Just above the town of LaSal is some good spots too.

Try upper miners basin and LaSal Pass and Geyser Pass. That is where i have seen the majority of the elk on that mountain in september.
