nvnative79 asked me to post these pics. He got his 2008 Nevada bull back from the taxidermist. Looks great Ryan.

"Now we come to the most important pre-season question. Do you just want to go elk hunting, or do you want to bring one back? If you desire the latter, there is no substitute for hard work. The bigger your goal, the harder the work required to get there. Good luck!" - Cameron R. Hanes

Two nice Trophies there NV....size shows that mounted it is about 2 feet up from the floor...no chair or couch under that head.
Better add an addition on to the home to relocate the heads later....very nicely done though.

Who did the Taxi work?

I just noticed your sheep pedestal. Whoever did that done a fantastic job. Very classy.

Great looking Bull. I love those Swords.

The Sheep are outstanding also. I don't think i have ever seen such a clean set of horns as that skull has.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-13-09 AT 04:51PM (MST)[p]Those are some gorgeous mounts. That's the trouble with NV you just have a few shoddy animals up there!:) The numbers may be right but shoddy they ain't! Both of our states could use a few more animals! That sheep mount is really special. Nice work and thanks for sharing!

Way nice----but move that Picture Painting and put the Bull out that far!!

That bull deserves 'Full Exposure'!

Dandy Ram and pick-up skull too.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys for the comments. I am very luckly to have taken these two trophies. The taxidermist that has done the work is Mike Jones of Trophy Quest Taxidermy in Minden Nv. As you can see he does a excellent job. On my elk the form I wanted only came in with it bugleing and I didnt want it that way so he changed out the head and re did the nose a little on it also. If any one want his phone number let me know.

The bull was kill in unit 111 during the late season and wasn't broke. His main beams are 57 4/8 & 57 7/8 and his 4ths are 22 4/8 & 22 0/8. It scores 367 6/8 gross and 358 4/8 net. The ram was killed in 2005 and scores 170 1/8 and the dead head is a 150 class ram.

Robb, I wish I had the room to put the bull out farther on the wall but it would be too close to the kithen table. Hopefully one day I'll be able add on a room to my house.

Thanks NVBighorn for posting the pictures.
