well ive hiked some miles and more miles...have seen 6 bracnhced bulls 3 of which were 6 pts. the biggest were 2 bulls runnin together one was around 330 and the other a bit bigger wasnt able to ghet in closer than 120 yards... had a shot on a smaller 6 and a 4pt bull but easily made the decision and passed.everything i have seen still in velvet...also had a couple oppurtunities on some deer had 20 yard shot on a 22-23 icnh good forked 4 pt but wasnt any bigger than last years buck so passed on him as well. seen several cows and spikes out and about. having a great time! lots of people been up there but ive been lucky enough to not run into very many. i beleive its gators little saying ''if you go the extra mile its never crowded'' and that is dang true!!! ive been hikin my guts and decided to slow down abit startin to wear myself down a little and have a lot hunt left still.
hope everyone with a bow tag is having as good of time as me!
good luck fellas!

Keep at it Ox. The best is yet to come. I'm sure you will come away with a nice bull or at least alot of good memories.

Now that you have ran the new off, it's time to slow down and start hunting. Hope you get a Moby #####.
It should pick up pretty soon, are the bulls Bugling at night yet,We use to hear them at night for week before it really heated up.
