Disability Hunt Help

Hey everybody,

Quick favor from any of you if you could. My father has his first elk tag ever this year and it's a general bull tag. He's developed a Parkinsons like disease affecting his motor neurons and such, and we're trying to get him a bull as part of his "bucket list". We've got the disability permits so he can hunt from the truck and also have a little bit of an extended season.

We don't need anything big at all, just a bull. But I'm looking for a recommendation for a public area that will give us a shot at a bull. We live in the Salt Lake area and could either commute their each day of get a hotel somewhere else. We had a couple private land contacts that fell through. His time frames will be Sep 12th-20th, and then the standard Oct 3rd-15th.

I've already done a small bit of scouting East of Kamas and Oakley, haven't seen anything. I've emailed a wildlife biologist, but haven't heard back. I'm thinking maybe on the North side of the Uintahs, getting a hotel in Vernal. ????

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks everybody.
