Well, it's been awhile since we gave away some DVDs. I figure some of you boys could use an early Christmas present.

The first guy to name this mountain range, the deer area (GMU, Number, Region, etc..) it is in, and the nonresident odds of drawing a tag, will win a "Never Enough Western Big Game" Vol. 1 DVD.

Good luck!

Just to add a note to mine.. yes, it is the Sublette Range, Raymond Mountain is the name of the hill in the pic, Sublette Peak is just to the south of this pic.

2_Point- Where ya from? Maybe I've seen you on that mtn before? I walked up that face in the pic so many times. It hurts just looking at it! :)

Looks like we got a problem....

What should we do?

I asked what range it was and 2point named it, however huntELK4Fun got too specific and named the mountain before the range.

HMMMMMMM! Any suggestions? Maybe 2point and huntELK4Fun should go to sudden death or overtime????? Maybe we could meet at the Flying J in Cokeville and have a thumb war, rock paper scissors, arm wrestle, etc....:)

LAST EDITED ON Nov-20-05 AT 02:23PM (MST)[p]I'll be at Flying J next Friday on my way to Star Valley. I'll start working out my thumb... 1.. and 2... and 3.. :)

Whatever you want to do is cool by me. I was just glad to see a pic of some of my stompin' ground. I live No. Ogden now, but grew up in Kemmerer. That mountain is one mean hill. Chased some good bucks on it though. Sat on it one day and watched a herd of elk come all the way from Idaho and run right up that canyon in the pic, right within 10 yards of us. Was cool seeing them miles away and then 10 yards. LOL

Again- whatever you want to do is fine by me. ;)

Hunt4elk, I am from Utah, but I have always enjoyed that area. If only there was enough work there I move up in a minute. That is a great looking mtn, because I know you can hike away from the crowds there.

Prism, you do whatever you want. I wouldn't hold any hard feelings either way; after all, it is just a game. I was just happy I got it right. And if Hunt4elk has to live in Ogden he probably needs the entertainment hahahhaha. (Just kidding hunt4)

:) Dang right.. it's kills me here. I would still live in Kemmerer, but you hit it on the head. Work keeps me here, so I play in Wyo., my family still lives in Star Valley and Kemmerer too.

OK-sounds like we need to have a tie breaker. Can you guys both be on here at 9:00 tonight? If so, I'll post a question that has to do with Sublette County and the first guy to answer will get the DVD.

Let me know.....

LAST EDITED ON Nov-20-05 AT 08:07PM (MST)[p]Prism, don't sweat it. Give it to huntelk4fun. My wife will kill me if I get on anymore today. I'll catch you on the next one. Thanks

Then by the powers vested in me I hereby declare huntelk4fun the official winner.

Send me a pm with your address huntelk4fun, and I'll get a DVD on its way to you.

Just for kicks here's the tie breaker question. What's the largest typical on record to come from Sublette County, and when was it shot?

Better luck next time 2_Point!!!

2_Point-- Your the man! Thanks. It will actually be a great stocking stuffer for my son. :) Thanks again. Looking at the bonus question, I'm glad 2_Point was so generous.

Prism-

I don't know how big the biggest one on record is. Anyone ever kill Popeye? I heard he has a "son" running around over there. I would guess somewhere on the Wyoming Range, in the Pineys maybe, but that would be an extreme guess.
