Curses that I didn't have the camera in video mode!!!

I didn't know to reset the time and date after changing out the batteries (live and learn). This actually happened Aug 31 at about 2:00 a.m.

Two small bulls minding their own business:

About five minutes later, the next pics in the sequence:

I have the camera programmed to take four pictures @ two seconds apart and then go into sleep mode for a minute. The next shot a few minutes later was blank.

No worries for the bull. Here he is about five hours later, paying a little more attention to the end of that log this time... ;-)

Here some more shots of kitties (momma and two kittens):

I would say those are rare photos.

--I'm looking for a man... who calls himself Bucho! That's all! And you had to do it, the hard way!--

Stealthcam Prowler. I also have a Moultrie I-40. Both are good.

It's obvious that the bull didn't know the cat was there. He did look toward it in the first frame, but then in the next frame he starts working over the salt lick that was at his feet. It makes me wonder if their eyesight at night at night is not as good as I previously thought.

For all the hiking around that I do at night (which is a bunch), it also makes me wonder how many times I've been in a similar situation without knowing it...

Great pictures!

I'm with you...kind of creepy that a cat can be that close to those bulls and they have no idea.

Humans have no chance if a cat wants to chow down!! Ha, ha!!

Looks to be time to take a few cats out of the picture - so to speak - i'd make sure that bunch got thinned out - a single lion can kill 55 deer a yr!!! if ya need help just holler - lots of lion hunters around who'd like ta help-out!!! MM

You pose an interesting dilemma. I'm going to do my best to remove one of them cats this year (the tom also occasionally shows up). But I don't have the luxury of dogs. If I bring in someone with dogs, then I risk giving away my super secret trail cam location. But if I don't bring in someone with dogs and the cats go unchecked, the super secret trail cam location soon won't be worth keeping secret... :-(

I called in my lion from 1/2 mile away with a dying rabbit call - no need to give aaway anything - get a electronic call and drop a few cats . i know guys happy to fork over a few $ for a cat! I used a circe cotton tail call for my cat - you gotta call at least 15 minutes a spot ! good luck - need help - give a holler ! MM

Thanks for that tip on the circle cotton tail call, I'll give that a try. I tried a distressed fawn and screaming jackrabbit last year but didn't have any luck with either.
