LAST EDITED ON Sep-09-09 AT 11:38AM (MST)[p]hey guys just wanted to share my 09 bull with ya, my buddy and i left the truck at 4:30am on sat to be top of the ridge and cut the bulls off as they were going into the thick pines to wallow, the day before we watched four bulls go into the pines and twenty min later when they came out they were coal black covered in mud, well on our way up the canyon we were walking alone and out of no where a bull rips off a hair standing bugle from about fourty yards, we looked at each other and sat down, i looked at my watch and it was only 5:00am an hour and a half before shootin light, well we sat there and sat there listening to this bull scream his guts out and splash and roll around in the wallow for what seemed like years finally it started to get light enough to see my pins and the bull started to move up the canyon, we moved up to the wallow knocked an arrow, i blew one cow call on my wood wise choke me call and he turned around bugled and was headed right back down the trail, i called one more time and thats all it took he came crashin through the bush, and at 18 yards thats all she wrote. 60 yards later a had my 09 bull. hes my fourth bull iv takin in a open bull unit in four years. me and big G at UAC put a tape on him and it came to 325 6/8 i just want to say thanks to everyone down at UAC and badlands for all the help and good times
