I really need some help in this area my step sister drew the tag and has had no time to go down and scout it before the hunt. They have been down there this weekend and only been able to find 280 to 300 class bulls and from what i hear thats nothing down there. I am going down this friday to try and seal the deal on a good bull. So please any info would be great thanks. tell me if i am wrong but is waiting for a 350 bull in this area to much to ask for because that is plenty big enough for this gal and in my opinion big enough for many other hunters out there. thanks again.

whats she look like?
I have no standards if it matters...

hunt hancock peak trail and behind hancock peak i was chasin a few big bulls two miles in quit bugling last two day of my archery hunt.was unable to locate them during that time. but i think they were still there one bull was big big!!!there were 4 herd bulls in the area. not sure whats happened since but may still be in there. that was the only place i could find elk during the last week of my hunt. good luck glad your seein bulls! i would ahve loved to have seen a few 300s during my hunt but they were way to pressured. 350 may be risky waitin for this year but may cool down up there soon been 7 days since pressuer was relieved up there . good luck!

Hey thanks for the fast response i will possibly be getting ahold of ya this week before i go. I am pretty excited to get down there and see what this place is all about, like i said i have never been down there but i do hear alot of good things about it though so thanks again.

Try off the Bunker creek trailhead from the top of Sydney valley we had a couple good bulls bugling down in there the last few evenings of the bow hunt.

If I were hunting it I would find access between Panguitch and highway 20. I would start hunting when I ran into the first cedar tree.
