There are some good bulls down there but they are a little skippy because all the bow hunters that hunted cows/spikes on there for the last month ran them to death.

Try Red Desert, Tippets Valley area. Anywhere public around the lake is great for the rifle...then they go lower if it snows. Most big ones come off down toward Panguitch later on. Go ask some of the local boys, they will know where to point you.

I know we didn't. The rifle hunt was a joke. I questioned why the unit is a LE unit this year. I know what the unit is capable of but seriously. My dad had the tag and he didn't see a sinlge bull the whole hunt and i promise we hunted hard! I hope this little cold snap does somthing or i think that the muzzleloader hunters are going to have their work cut out for them!
