There's room for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potato's and gravy.

Beautiful Desert Bull with those white Antlers.. Congratulations.

Ever wonder if Desert Bulls are subspecies ? or those White antlers just white because there is no Pine pitch to make them dark out there ?

Great job and photo's

thanks kody for one of the best hunts ive ever been on, we had one hell of a good time. next time its my tag that goes on the bull. everyone needs to have a look at the goofy bull that we passed on to kill this one. once again thanks for all the fun. weatherbys rule

All i can say about this hunt is it was awesome the bulls were quiet the first couple days we did see this bull i killed on day four but not long enough time to set up and shoot 640 yards we tried moving around the next couple of days but just kept coming back to the forrest of cedars which i just dispise but thats where all the action was passed on simply dozens of 340-350 bulls then the big front bull which is going to be a 400 class bull next year if he adds some length at all to his g5 and main beams then there was the goofey bull what a studd this bull tried to eat us one morning before light this bull is just nasty mean and so unique he gave me every chance to take him but i still had that big six on my mind so on day 7 we went in way before light and set up where we had seen him pushing cows and waited but he was deep in the trees i told my help were going in they alllooked at me like i lost my mind carrying a 1000 yard rifle and we were going to go into the trees where we might get a 50 yard shot at best so we pushed on through the trees never did cow call or bugle we could hear the goofey bull bugeling and the big front bull answering and then we heard an un familur bugle so we headed towards it and came to a thin strip opening about 80 yards wide and a couple hundred yards long i said lets sit here for a while and see if they are chasing cows or just talking just then we seen three cows appear out of the tree line below us and they were coming right up the sage flats right to us then they turned and went right back in straight in front of us we waited about 20 minutes and could hear the unfamilur bugle coming towards us then we could see color then the same three cows appeared and then the bull walked out of the trees i was allready looking at him with my swarovskis he started to get nervous to leave so i raised my 338 ultra and all i could see was tan hair in my scope it was on full magnification i opened my left eye and pulled the trigger as he started to run after his cows missed he turned on the afterburners and ran up the edge of the treeline right behind his cows then the lead cow turned left and i knew they were going to cross the 80 yard apening so i sat down with my rifle and bipod and waited for him to follow his cows out put my 300 yard hash on his shoulder at a dead run and touched off the 338 ultra i immediatly saw his hind end drop out from under him perfect shot behind the shoulder he had enough speed to make it out of sight and then i heard my dad say what the hell were you waiting for he was posing for you and you waited till he ran off to shoot thats the bull weve been looking for and he got away i took my arse chewing from dad and started walking up the flat knowing i had just killed this bull we walked a couple hundred yards and there he was piled up just outside the tree line dad and the guys just looked at me and said only you would miss at 80 yards and hit a running shot at 300 this was a great hunt and we acted like little boys with high fives and hugs i could not be any happier with this bull thanks dad casey mclain lance for all the help
