I have been hunting with a bud this archery season, acting like a love-sick cow elk. Last weekend, I called in a bull and he was about 15 yards away from me! HOLY CRAP! Unfortunately, my bud couldn't get a shot. As for me, I am hooked. Gonna look at bows and give it a try. I could count his dang whiskers! mtmuley

It is a lot of fun being that close to wildlife! Be careful though cause as soon as you start you will be obsessed!!

You will leave some big bulls up on the mountain doing archery, but you will never want to go back to a bang-stick. Too much adrenaline......makes you a junkie.

I would have to agree with it becoming an Instant Addiction!!
My first elk / Bull was taken this year with a Bow and it was frighin AWESOME!!! I have never shaken that bad in my life and it took all I had in me to talk myself into a stead shot!
Anything with a bow is exciting, you are gonna LOVE IT!!
