My wifes Wasatch Bull after 14 years

After 14 years of putting in my wife finally drew the Wasatch rifle tag. She hunted hard and had a great time with our family and friends. For five and one half days we hunted hard and saw a lot of bulls. One great bull that we just could not get on to quick enough and many smaller bulls she past on. Thursday during the day she decided where she wanted to go for the evening hunt,we hiked into the area around 4pm and the bull with his cows had already arrived. After almost 2 hours of being patient and the cows moving into the little valley only 100 yards away we new it would not be long until the bull followed.
Another bull bugled around the front of the mountain and the bull ran down to push his cows up the draw, one shot later and the bull was on the ground. She was so happy to have picked the spot to hunt and that it had all came together. The kids had all left the day before to go back to work for a couple of days so we text them from on top the mountain and by the time we caped and quartered the bull hike out and drove to camp they had called friends and they were all ready to get him out. Six strong guys and 2 hours later, around 2:15am the bull was off the mountain and in the truck. Thanks to all our family and friends that helped and enjoyed the hunt.

Congratulations mom you worked hard for that bull and put in a lot of miles. That bull has some of the most amazing fronts I have ever seen on the wasatch 21" g1's and 22" g2's. Glad I could be there to help get him off the mountain.

+1 on the smile, we don't need to know anything else.

What is up with the short 3's on the Wasatch bulls? Genetics, perhaps? I know the Wasatch is a huge unit, but a lot of the bulls just seem to have small 3's.

There's room for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potato's and gravy.

awesome browtines, you got a heck of a bull, nice job and it's nice to have a lot friends and family hauling meat off the mountain in the dark.My hat is off to those folks for pitching like they did.

Thanks for all the nice comments! She had fun reading them and it made her even happier about what she accomplished.
