His outside spread was 32" and shrunk to 31 7/8". I thought all along he was low 180's. I taped him myself and got a gross of 175 5/8". I was hoping I was wrong, but the official scorer taped him at 174 gross and 171 5/8" net. No matter the score he is still a good buck to me. Thanks for all kind words and playing the game. I will post another buck real soon.

I would have to say in the neighborhood of 201 7/8's ". That is a great buck, no matter what the score.

Definately a great buck regardless of the score. With width like that you gotta just throw the score out the window. Congrats on one Hell of a Buck!!!!

It is quite something to see the range of guesses. I know full well that scoring photos ain't easy but some of you were WAYYYY off. The mains are your first hint. Short mains and you need a ton of mass and Super Awesome Backs and Big eyeguards to get a buck to go over 190. All that width doesn't do that buck justice in the score as he gets a spread credit of his short mains. Mass is average. G4's are average. G1's are short. Thus the lower than expected score.

You hit it right on the head. Width does not mean jack, unless you have some long tines to go along with it. One thing width does do it gets the old heart just a thumpin. After I hit this guy and he ran away he looked twice as wide as he is.
