anybody out here going on the january bow hunt in 2b or 2c, if so it could be the year for a whopper. most of colorados deer have moved in to the area and should stay until spring or so, anyways good luck to anyone going i hope you get a monster, oh yeah it will be very very cold

270winchester, how did your hunt in the valle vidal turn out hope you took a good one,I'm headed out to 2b on the 1st for 5 or 6 days might you send me in the right direction for some big bucks, also is there any snow, I wont have a chance to scout before hand thanks nmbighorn

bighorn, my hunt in the valle vidal turned out great i ended up taking a very old six by six on the third day, i shot him from about 380 yards up a very steep hill, he went about twenty yards then fell back to right where he was standing when i shot him, it was my first elk ever. about finding some big bucks in 2b, well i haven't been out there recently but have talked to people who have and they say that there are big deer every where and ther was snow here in aztec on the 13th so i imagine they got alot more than us and there is still some left out there, it should be a great hunt and i hope u take a dandy, thanks for the help with my hunt and im sorry i couldn't help you out more

270, thats awesome you took your first bull elk in the valle its a great place to harvest your first elk no matter how old you are, I hope to find some great bucks up in 2b thanks for your help. nmbighorn
