All the big ones are dead. No need for anyone to apply for this unit next year. Looks like the Dutton has taken it's place that is why I will applying for the Dutton next year.

Yup, NOBODY should put in for the San Juan. Go anywhere but San Juan. We really need to let that unit build up for a few years! LOL
Actually, I had a great time helping friends on a youth hunt on the new Montezuma Creek unit. He took a great 360 bull. It was a little slow on the Blues when we were there--didn't see too many bulls coming off the mountain.

Plenty of big bulls left down there, I helped a friend out on the unit and we saw plenty of 360+ bulls harvested.

they've crossed the road, thats why messback is on the open bull unit right now with the gov elk tag.
