The Gov. Tag was filled on Dec. 20th in the Entiat GMU 247. It would serve no purpose to report the exact location because the entire Entiat Valley is filled with quality bucks. We do have a few favorite spots because we think the genetics (or something) in those spots give the antler growth an edge. The 6x6 taken was not the typical buck we expect from that spot. Normally we see typical 4x4s (plus eyeguards) wide spread. The GMU 247 side of the valley does seem to have an edge over the Swakane side and the Entiat is much easier to hunt. I will get in touch with Drue after the Holidays and see if it is OK to post his photos.
