i recieved this pic via e-mail, can some one explain this monster? where did he come from and who do i have to kill to get one? All i was told was that it came out of an area near Datil, NM. he scores 443...Was it on Public land? i'm hearing farm raised, corn fed?

This bull was killed on wide open land in the Gila. I've heard several different units, 16D, 15, etc. Get over the farm raised, corn fed BS. This is a legitimate bull, not somebody's pet. I have a close friend who just got back from hunting unit 15, and he said lots of people were talking about this fantastic bull when he was down there.

The only thing I've heard was that this bull was killed off of a high fence ranch in New Mexico. I'm not trying to cause problems with anyone, just heard that it was killed at Red Canyon Ranch which isn't far from Datil. Regardless, beautiful elk and I would love to have him in my crosshairs. Congrats to the hunter!

I got this bull e-mailed to me the first of September from a man in Moriarty, NM this bull was killed on the Red Canyon Game ranch near there, quite a ways from Datil. Look at Red Canyon's web page genetics look the same.
