I was able to go to the Manti LaSal Mountains last week to try for a spike. I didn't see a spike, but did see a monster bull with 7 cows. I chased them into the pines and blew a cow call and got him all worked up. Then another bull started in and for 15 minutes or so, it was awesome to listen to the bugling and brawling. My son got sick so we had to head home early. I am trying to go out again and was wondering if anyone could help. I need to get some meat in the freezer and would go back down to Fairview (I live up in northern utah), but was wondering if anyone knew of anything close I could try.
