Congrats to you on the nice wide WT and now that you have the picture posting figured out, keep the pictures coming.

Nice! I'm not guessing on the score....you'll probably only give us half the score. :)

Where'd ya get him?

Yeah, I'll guess the score when I get the rest of the story on your other post. Your leaving us hanging here. :)

Beautiful buck Mike. OK I'll start. 155. Don't laugh or be offended. I know very little about scoring WT:)

Steve

After much analysis I have rough scored him at about 156".

What do I win?

Seriously, nice buck. Really nice whitey. The mule deer is a solid buck also.

Congrats.

Are you going to try and make it over to Idaho or Wyoming again?

Did I tell you the score already? If so, You cheatin bast#$d!

156 it is! That was just rough scored by a B&C scorer who happened to be in our camp. I don't really care much about net score. It's good enough for me whatever it scored.

I have two horses, a wall tent and stove now and I put in for tags in SE Idaho, Wyoming and Montana last year. Got zero tags! Have permission on a ranch in Montana so not drawing in MT just about killed me. See the Alberta story for the whole story on my hunt for both deer.

If I get that way Lance, I'll let you know ahead of time. We gotta get together for a day or two of huntin.

Well Mike, you didn't tell me the score, but....that doesn't mean I'm NOT a cheating ba$t@rd!

You let it slip on your post!

You know, there are over the counter non-res tags for muleys here in Idaho. And in my opinion a whole bunch of that country in the SE corner is over rated. Great historical results and potential but the area has been hammered with hunters, winters and late season rut hunts. Lots more elk there than deer. Also, at least in 2005 the seasons for the rest of southern and eastern Idaho were a week longer than the SE corner, going until 10/31. We got some pre rut activity going on the last week of season.

Give me a shout if you make it over this way. I can always use a friend with horses!

Tell ya what, I'll trade you a hunt in Idaho if I can be your buddy and hunt that ranch in MT with ya!
