here's my fist elk it was so much fun. I hope you like my pictures. i hope I get a bigger one next year! he was broken all over but my dad is getting the points fixed!this is an ARIZONA BULL ... ALMOST FORGOT THANKS AGAIN DAD LOVE YOU!!

That is a dandy bull, I think you will have to work real hard to get a better bull and this one you harvested this year. Congrats and what state did you take him in?

thats what my dad says too. i told him i know it will be a lot of work to beat this bull but its fun work. not like my chores thats not fun. thanks for all the quotes everyone. this part is fun too. good luck to all the hunters this year.

Great Job Kid. One heckuva a bull. I hope I can kill one that big someday and I am 36. You wont be with out goals in life. One goal will be to try and top that one. Good luck...

Congratulations and way to shoot a great bull for your first elk. That is a bigger bull than most people will ever shoot in their lives. Congrats to your father for getting you out in the field and into hunting!
 
I hope you do get a bigger elk next year. I'm hoping you can all do us a favor here on monster muleys. After you get the elk mounted and the points fixed will you please post pictures for us. That is one awesome elk and congratulations.

What (caliber) gun were you shooting and how well did it fit you?
My daughter will be 10 in April and she is tiny so I am having trouble findind a really short length of pull that will fit.

wow 10 is legal hunting in arizona?! wow awesome bull!!! congrats!!!it will be hard to top him...he migiht be all broken up but you definently knwo you kill one of the meanest/toughest bulls on the mountain!

This is Tommy's Dad.

Thanks for all the post he is checking the post every 20 minutes.
I have him working on a story for you all, so I thought I would answer a few questions he saw in here while he does that.
It was a limited op hunt in the multi unit here in AZ, and he was using my 30.378 weatherby. big gun with a little kick. And yes im sure the first thing he will do is post the new pictures once the bull is fixed at the taxidermist.

Thanks again for all your support he is now hooked for life. He admits before he was not so sure if he like hunting with all the scouting and work involved. Hope he stay's positive even when the hunt turns out not so lucky.
 
Congrats Tommy AND Dad. That is an incredible bull. Great way to start off your hunting career. My son can start hunting big game next season here in Utah. I look forward to that opportunity for him. It is going to be fun!

That is one mighty old master bull. Good for you! You'll hunt for quite a spell to find his equal. Think of all the fights he'd been in over the years. I'd have left his antlers just the way they are; what a story they tell!
 
I have never seen a bull that big while hunting in my entire life! Make sure you write the story down in a journal so you don't forget any of it!!!

Holy crap! What a bull! Way to go, Tommy! You rocked it, little man!! Can't wait to see pics after it comes back from the taxidermist. NICE and a HIGH FIVE from my son who is 11.
 
Congrats Tommy to you and your dad! You'll have to go a piece to beat that big boy! Nice to see you had a wonderful hunt and took a nice Bull. He'll make a beautiful mount and every time you look at him you'll think back to the great time you had and remember it fondly!
