Looks like a huge, heavy 2X3. I would like to kill a huge 2X2 one day, I think they are pretty cool.

Congrats.

22" 3x4 his right back tine has two points on it,his left back tine a single thick dagger, both main beams fork.i took him on opening day in d-8 zone at about 9000ft.elev.,of the general rifle season.i took him withone shot at 150yds.he rolled down through the shale about 30yds.i thought he might bust an antler.just a few scratches.i shoot a model 54 win. 30-06.it is the same rifle that killed that nevada muley in the 1950s, pictured in this forum under 40" muley. my great uncle named the rifle "meat in the pot".its a sweet shooting rifle.i had to quarter this deer where he laid in the rocks. he was to heavy and the ground was too steep or i would have moved him to a more suitable area.my first pack pushing 100 lbs.the first 300yds.was very steep through shale rock. the rest of the way was up hill but pretty good walking. it took two hours to get to the truck.i rounded up my two boys, that were hunting on the other side of the mountain and went back and got the rest of the meat.i killed him at 9:30am and finshed packing at 5:30pm.what a day.it was well worth the effort. riverdog
