I have a buddy whose dad drew this tag. He is truly a good ol boy and claims he is going to shoot the first 6 point he sees, and I dont doubt him one bit. He says 'my house is too small to put anything too big in anyways' He is a hoot! Anyways, I have heard these late hunts can be very tough, but I dont think his expectations are unrealistic. I want to help him see some bulls and have a good hunt. I have spent a little time on the unit during September but none late season. If anyone would like to offer up any help of areas that hold bulls this time of year it would be appreciated. Not looking for giant bulls, just areas that hold bulls to help give him a fun hunt. BTW, he is about 65-70 so probably limited hiking although he seems to get around pretty well for his age. PM's welcome. Thanks in advance and best of luck to everyone that still have tags in their pockets!

Bingo, not being facetious but what do you mean when you say "he seems to get around pretty well for his age"??? is he handicapped???

Wildsage-I should have clarified that better. He can hike and get out and hunt. However, I doubt that he is going to be looking to climb the highest peak or do anything in record time. He is not handicapped or limited to vehicle/atv-

Late hunts are tough because the bulls are now off looking to get weight back on, so find the feed and you should find the bulls.

Hope you like hunting in the snow! There will be plenty after today. I was out on the north end of the unit this morning in the blizzard...white-out!!!

Do you know if they got much snow in the Fishlake unit? I'm headed out on the 5th for Utah.
