Rumor has it that the buck was taken on the Henry Mountains in Utah this year but I don't know that for certain. WHAT A MONSTER! WOW!

(Hey, this is my 1000th post :))

I believe this buck is the 2004 Sportsman tag buck.
That was shot on the henry's

Absolute monster buck, jaw dropper! If anyone knows the owner or has any additional info on the score or story it would be exciting to hear?

Yes That's the 2004 sportsman tag buck. The guy holding it is not the hunter. I believe it scored somewhere around 225. I talked to the hunter several times as we were both working on deals for the stories of our 2004 bucks. It was harvested on the Henry's.

I think there is a little confusion between the Governer's tag buck and the Sportman's tag buck. The governer's tag buck was killed on the Henry's. It is on Mossbacks website in the members forum. The above picture is of a buck that had some local popularity in the area I hunt. And it wasn't the Henrys. During the last 3 years, this buck would show up every winter on an alfalfa field. I could be wrong, it has happened before, but I don't think both deer were killed on the Henry's.

Thanks

Reguardless of where its from, thats a damn fine buck. The stuff that dreams are made of. 1 shot.

That buck is on the cover of a trophy hunter magazine I believe it is either last fall or winter issue, what a great buck.
