One hell of a mount if that is real! Even a Euro would be cool if the antler is lodged in the skull.

that is a pretty serious chunk of bone!

I've seen that before as well. There was a shoulder mount bull exhibited at a RMEF baquet in Grand Junction of a Glade Park bull with a lot of bone stuck though the sinus.

A similar bull was taken in 61 this year. Pic was in the Gunnison paper, it's almost identical.

I think that is the bull taken in 61... The email I got with the pic said it was 61.

The bull that I shot down on the Manti ( UT ) had about a 1 1/2 inch piece stuck at the base of his pedicule!! My taxidermist said it is only the second one he has personally seen. A 1 1/2 piece seemed like it would hurt bad enough, GGGEEEzzzus I can't imagine what that one felt like!!!

So, we are going to put it back in if the cape allows us to do so, we do not know if the original hole will be stretched or distorted!!
