This buck should be at the mdf-fnaws convention in about 10 days. It may be at the SCI this week. The net s/b in the low 220's. D13, wasn't the buck that GISI killed last year a top 10 typical? I've heard about this buck from 2 differnt people who actually saw this hawg. I was hoping that someone snapped a picture of it.

I saw the buck first hand at the SCI show in Reno on Wed & Thurs. WHAT A PIG 235 gross ! But you gotta ask yourself, why would the owner shoot this buck before Christmas,BEFORE paying clients came? If your in the hunt business,selling monster deer wouldnt you put a client on to it? He probably could have doubled the hunt price for this buck.....I know,Iknow, its a rich guys sport if you do that right?(guess what,it is) Do you think it's a conflict of interest by him doing this? I know his daughter has also shot two or three smokers the same way. If I'm gunna hunt a private ranch I'd want a chance at the best bucks he has to offer....perhaps pay a trophy fee to do so.

That guy is so full of crap, I held those antlers at the San Angel hotel last week and while it is a pig it was not killed by him or his hunters. The story he and his hunters told me was that it was apparently killed last year on a new ranch he leased so he bought the antlers. A couple of days after hearing him tell me this I see him at the airport claiming it had just come off of his ranch and that they had seen 3 or 4 more better bucks. 2 different stories in 2 days from the same guy.
UNREAL buck, lots of BS behind it though.
Whats funny is that they had not scored it when I looked at it and they were asking me what I thought it would score, I told them that it had to be at least 225-230.

When I saw it the skull plate was taped. I dont know why but it was. If he had it in Reno then he would have had to completely dried the skull plate if it was a recent kill. I am not sure that one would be able to tell if it was recent kill from this year because of that. I wish I had taken a picture but I was trying to get out to the ranch for an evening hunt and did not get another chance. Nothing ever adds up with that guy. Hell of a deer though.

Old Carlos, I had the honor,& two of my freinds, hunted with Carlos 5 years ago, $5000.00 ea. What a joke. If you going to Mexico to hunt, do you homework,I know now.Two bottles of tequia $98.00,got screwed on that deal,Carlos delivery charge
