That sucks! I'm fairly new on here, and don't remember the "old days" that you guys are talking about. But, my wife and I never had a honeymoon, and I was thinking that the Rainbows End, might be a good spot, with the added bonus of seeing some great mounts - guess it won't work out.

Maniac is in no hurry to go anywhere. How long did he have President Grants Gazebo for sale? Money is not an issue, he probably is getting bored with big game mounts. Last I heard he was going to get into the Texas longhorn business. Wants to get in the Guniess book of world records with the widest spread!

Maniac was cool to talk to , he is really into his family , his daughter graduated from HS a few years ago but I know he stayed busy haulling her up and down the road to rodeos . He wasn't banned from here , but every time he'ed post about anything , someone would turn it into a arguemeant , and he simply got tired of the bs and didn't feel he had to always defend himself . He brought alot of great pictures and topics to MM , would tell the history of many of the great bucks and bulls he'd post , but contiously was bashed for buying these heads or just bashed for having money....I thought he as cool...NMHUNTNUTT

He sure did post some of the greatest mounts around, People got P*ssed that he had so many mount that he brought and so much money to play with, IMO I think he was just another guy who loved Horn Porn,He use to post alot Huge deer/elk heads and everyone would guess the score, the winner got a T-shirt from Rainbow Inn, I can't find the ones I won but they had a great buck on them. I think his family still owns a huge ranch in Northern California, I know he market some hunts on E-bay that wasn't all they was to be(heads claims to from area that you was to hunt and wasn't). But I think he was more a fisherman then a hunter he loves to fish and did post alot of great fish too.Still I loved to see those great mounts.
