Freak WY Bull

I shot this bull last Sunday in Western Wyoming. Not a huge bull, but when I saw that his right antler was growing out the center of his forehead, I couldn't pass him up.
When I caped out the head, I found the pedicle starts at the normal location on it's head, but then it bends radically forward and in towards the center of it's head.
Just thought a few MMers would like to see it.

I would taken him too, that should make a cool euro mount.

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".

I also shot a bull similar to that in Utah this year it appears that the pedestal has been broken at some time and healed that way it does make a neat euro mount though

I smacked a bull on the Pauns last year that was simular. It even had an extra point growing out of the skull behind the antler that grew from its forehead. Its an awesome pedistal mount. If I can get a web ready photo I will send it.

Congrats on a successful hunt.

Turk still has issues posting pics. Someday I'm gonna learn him right.....here is his bull, very similar to yours, taken last year in Utah.

I shot one similar to these two years ago as well....I'll see if I can post a picture. Mine was up in Montana, same deal the pedestal bends radically forward. He made a cool european mount.

LAST EDITED ON Nov-04-09 AT 07:41PM (MST)[p]We have hunted this bull for the last 5 years and finally brought him down on October 17, 2009. He was alot bigger last year - we think he is 10 to 11 years old. Probably broke his pedicle when he was 2 or 3.

Thanks for letting me share. If he would have been intact he would have scored over 340".... We nick-named him "the slick horn bull" or "slicky" for obvious reasons. Thanks for the hunt Slicky !!!!

Great post! Here is the bull I killed in Utah on the late hunt. He is very similar to all the freaky bulls on here :)
