Teaching Barbie the elk basics

Here are some of the things we spent teaching Barbie about elk hunting. We had a good time and lots of laughs with her..Thanks Ty for sending her down...

First I taught her how to read a map so she wouldn't get lost..

Next I showed her how to use the Swarovski to look for animals.

Looks like she handled the cold weather ok it looks nippy in those pics.
 
I neglected to haul my pack up when we killed the bull so I didn't get pictures of Barb with the bull, so took a few when I got home. She created a lot of laughter over the week.
ktc mentioned that I should keep her until somewant else wants to take her hunting, so if you want to take her hunting, let me know.... She is realy a good partner, she never talks back, but she does need a new outfit! A nice new camo thong would be nice to cover that nice A$$..lol...I'll work on it!

That is some great entertainment, right there.

I can hardly wait for Feleno to show us his hunt with Ken! It will probably be XX rated and get the nuke.

Thanks to ktc and warbirdum for starting the Barbie thing. When I took her hunting, I knew I had to come up with some good stuff to please them. I hope that I brought a little fun to the thread and a smile to everyone.
I don't think ktc will charge for her to go out hunting with anyone. I think that it would be fun to do the "pass Barbie" thing and see all the places she ended up. It could be the same type of thing as "Flat Stanley" only in the hunting family.
What do you all think?

She is from Montrose, Colorado saddlesore and ktc was riding horses scouting before the hunt last year when they rode up on her tanning on a rock.That's how this Barbie goes hunting got started.When saddlesore pulled her out of his saddlebag when they got back in camp I was thinking what the HELL is up with this?Ha
Since that day when they found her out in the middle of no mans land she has been on that deer hunt a turkey hunt a mountain goat hunt and now Ricks fishlake elk hunt.
The Hunting Barbie.Cracks me up, you did a great job on the pics.Rick.

Anyway, it is funny how she has made the rounds...I'd like to see her go on lots of hunts!! LOL..
 
Wonder if SITKA GEAR will make her a hunting outfit?Ha
Who is going to Africa?I would like to see the looks on some of the trackers faces when the hunter starts taking pictures of her hunting Africa.
 
Thats possibly the funniest damn thing I have ever seen on this website. Kudos to making me and alot of people really laugh.

Barbie is a confirmed Elkaholic... but now she is ready for 2010 and all geared up... she was cold up on the Fishlake... Barbie Outed GI Joe and stole his gear and she is ready for some more of the Big Stinky.

I drive all the way to Colorado, ride my horse for miles, find Barbie tanning on a rock, use my best pick up line, steal her away from Ken, talk her into coming home with me, lose her to ktc, and now find you pimping her out on the net?

Sometimes sorry doesn't help. I may have to call Bev and let her know what your up to.

Geez Matt...I didn't know you were so sensitive or I'd have written a full page apology. I wondered why Barbie kept mumbling "Matt" in her sleep! lol.. And I didn't know that ktc had stolen her from you. I feel your pain now that I know the whole story. Ktc should be ashamed of himself to steal her from his brother.. This has the making of a soap opera..ha
Nobody ever gave me the full story but now I know I feel so bad that I forgot you. You did train her well. She was very nice and didn't complain much at all.
And ktc told me to see if anyone else wanted to take her hunting and to just care for her until I send her off. Maybe Chris was getting tired of Barbie getting all the attention and gave ktc an ultimatim!
Please don't call the wife...As you know she has been down for a few months and it would probably break her heart to know what has been going on! You can't blame a guy though can you!
If you call Bev, I'll be like the divorce Barbie's ex and only have half of what I do now!!!!!
What can I do for you to regain your trust, Matt?

Hilarious! I do have a couple questions. Does she pack meat? Will she get up in the a.m.? Can she cook? Will she chop wood for the campfire. I mean sure she looks great, but I think you can create the perfect woman here. Pass her up to OR if you get bored with her. I'll show her around the woods a bit.

She drinks beer at camp you should have seen her on this years turkey hunt.
She never cooked a meal just wanted to call turkeys and kick back in camp and watch the Office on DVD.Ha
 
Perfect woman?

I don't know if I could go as far as to say she was the perfect woman. She wanted to stay at the truck when we hiked up to shoot the bull. She never offered to pack. She never cooked any meals. She wouldn't get out and clean the snow off the truck. She liked to get out and ride the wheelers and play in the snow, and she got twitterpated with my son. She spent most of the time napping in my pack.
She didn't talk back, and always wore that hot outfit, so there were some good things I liked about her. When she became lifesize up on the point that day, I thought things might liven up, but within a few minutes, she climbed back in the pack and went back to sleep.
We didn't have any beer in our camp, and no DVD's that she liked so that wasn't an issue.
She did like to take the spotting scope over when glassing, but I tried to keep her zipped in the pack most of the time..
 
Holy Crap. I think I wet myself that is some funny stuff. You are so lucky you got a nice bull, I was just about to ask you to turn in your man card!
 
Well if ya want I can teach her a couple things. Only time will tell if she can become the perfect woman. I feel you have a good fundamental basis for creating the perfect woman....doesn't talk much (i.e. complain) and looks good....it is a start...you can only teach her so much at a time.

Ha thats funny stuff. I showed that to my 7 year old daughter she has the same barbie and outfit we got a kick out of it. She wasn't to sure of the big pine nuts though:)
 
I think the whole barbie storyline would weave wonderfully into a future hunt of the week episode. Just food for thought.

I appreciate the concern Rick but I think we are okay now. I have gone through the healing process and now I am focusing my energy on a nice little Bratz doll in the Wal-Mart toy aisle.

Besides, if she goes to Colorado with Slam that will pretty much ruin her. Although I think he should lose the camo outfit idea and buy her a nice pink tank top so she will fit in. :)
 
I'm glad you are over her. Besides, the Bratz dolls are a little more on the "trashy side" and probably more exciting than Barbie is..
I think that should be a requirement if she goes to CO that either she dresses like qtpie, or qtpie dresses like Barbie!!
