LAST EDITED ON Feb-01-06 AT 11:49AM (MST)[p]KW,

Yup, she is ahead of me in deer and antelope. She reminds me of it often. Check out the 'fin keel' browtines.

Colorado unit 41, hunted from our house.

Hey Beanman,
For some reason I thought you lived near Dove Creek?? Might have had something to do with the name.

Nice massive buck.
Congrats to the wife.

What a great buck ! Shorts ??? was it warm ?? I take shorts for the elk hunt here in NM too.
Tell her CONGRATS from NM...

Silverback,

Mesa, Montrose, and Delta counties are the only regions in the state that are disease free for bean seed production. Dove Creek calls themselves the bean capitol of Colorado but in terms of production that county is actually ranked 7th in Colorado.

NMHuntnutt,

It was shot on Nov 1, 1999 near Palisade and it was about 70 degrees out. My Wife wears shorts in conditions that would freeze me.

Nice buck. It looks like you were dropping it off at the taxidermy shop? I know I sure would be! Thanks for the picture.
