Since i'm day dreaming for a min...san juan, pahvant, beaver...and I'd shoot the first 400"er I saw!! But since I suck at field judging elk I'd probably get laughed at by all for shooting a 330" bull with the best tag possible...

That is a good daydream...

I would prolly start out close to home......in those LE units and then start working my way south.....

I think the 'look' of the bull would be more important to me than the final score.

A perfect white tipped 6x6.....

A wild tined non-typical....

A real goofy horned-grown-wierd bull....

The whole state until I found the bull I wanted. But I would start in the Bookcliffs.

What about the wasatch, the manti or the la sals? Thats a serious question, I've never hunted any of them, what kind of bulls do they hold? Do guys pull 400ish bulls out of any of these units?

LAST EDITED ON Nov-23-09 AT 06:57PM (MST)[p]up in the LaSals they do kill a few big ones,Close to 400 i don't think so. But the SJ and Elk Ridge would be a couple of one's I would start with.
