question for WA hunters

A few weeks ago I was at the Tri-City Sportsmans Show and the guy who was scoring deer for Washington, Oregon, and Idaho told me that he had recently scored a buck that will be the new WA state record non-typical archery buck. He told me where it came from but I'd rather not disclose that info. He said it scored 204 and some change net. I heard about the buck that was killed in the early season in Chelan that scored 202 but his one was late season. Does anybody have any info about these two archery bucks? I hate getting rumors flying but this came from a pretty legit source.

Yeah I think I know of the buck he's talking about, and I know where it was killed but I won't say either. I'm not sure whether the one I'm thinking of was killed early or late season, and not that it matters but it was killed by using bait. I'll talk to my cousin this weekend if I get a chance as he knows more about it than I do. Oh, and I will say this one wasn't killed in Chelan County, or Okanogan either.

AT the Puyallup sportsman show there were several potential new record muleys.

A bow killed NT that went 203 and change taken in 2005, county is remaining unnamed for this post.

A 203 typcial blackpowder buck that was taken in 2005 in a county that you wouldn't think would produce a trophy mule deer.

A 202 typical archery buck that was taken in 2004 in a county that you wouldn't think would produce a buck like that.

Perhaps one of these is the same buck or maybe not.

Well I believe I talked to the guy's sister or sister in law who got the huge archery buck this year. It was shot around cle elem or I think Wenatchee. I forget the unit but I know I was suprised. Am I correct?

I to heard of a good archery buck killed this season. But I heard nothing of it being taken over bait?? Any more info on this.

Geezz...and we wonder how rumors get started! :) I have a picture of it.....but, it has the county and unit it was taken in, in the picture, so can't post it....don't want to piss anybody off. :)

I don't know what it scored, but our realtor in N. Central Wa. had a fresh killed typical 28" 4x4 that had to have scored at least mid 180's in his office when we went over in October.

So what does it score? And will it be a record or not? I dont care where it came from, I have plenty of hunting spots. I am just curious if the state record archery got broke and what it scored. I dont even need a picture, I know what a 200 inch buck looks like. Why does everyone jump to get defensive. After all it is a hunting forum to share stories and get information right?

I saw the black powder, pretty nice. But I am wondering if the non-typical archery buzz about a 203 and a 202 is true or not. So far no pictures, names, scores or anything.
