Indian Peaks Cow help

My 14 year old son has an anterless tag on the peaks. In the past few weeks we have seen elk but have not been able to get him a shot. We went back in there this morning and it appears they have moved out since the recent storm. If anybody has any ideas on an area to try I would appreciate it. I have taken all of next week off to try and help him fill his tag but I am flummoxed on where I should take him.

I hunted just south of Indiam Peaks during the muzzloader deer hunt and seen a ton of elk. Can't imagine where they would have gone. Good luck and keep us posted.

Its in the western part of Utah.

mlycrzy are you talking about Colorado - after the Utah comment, I was uncertain if there were other Indian Peaks.
