Colorado elk help

Looking at trying the colorado elk hunting. Over the counter tag 4th season. Anyone who is willing to help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Most 4th season elk tags are draw here in Colorado. Do you have some points?

1st and 4th seasons are draw, 2nd and 3rd are over the counter.

I would research some units that could be drawn with 0 points for the first season. If you draw, more of a quality hunt with fewer hunters in the woods. If not, you get a point and can still get an over the counter tag for the second or third season.

No i have no points, My brother has hunted the 4th season around steamboat and he bought his over the counter but it was a couple years ago. is it draw now?

Yup, all 1st and fourth seasons are now draw only.

well damn my luck. So you know the draw odds for that area
