Best CO 3 Pref Pt Hunting

Looking for advice for a good location to hunt CO mule deer with 3 preference points. I have all the maps, looked at all the CO DOW draw data but have never hunted in CO. Where is best place to start looking with 3 preference points? Earlier posts say near Meeker and Craig is good. Units 3, 4 & 11 seem like definite draws but don't know about the deer quality and quantity. Lots of BLM land there. What about NF land in the north-central part of the state? Just looking for a nice 4x4, in the 22+ range. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

If you're just after a 22" buck, save your points and hunt a second choice area for a 30" buck. There's plenty of good second choice areas. Check out the Colorado Hunt info page here on monster muleys to get pointed in the right direction. It's got some good info.
