Sure was a quiet year for giant bulls afterall, 1 maybe 2 400" as best. Maybe there weren't enough PROfessionals out in the field!
Looks like our glory days are over and we're back to where the 380 bulls are king of the mountains again.
But hey....who ever said 380" is small? ;-)

There are no elk on the Manti. After SWF, MDF, RMEF, Pheasants forever, trout unlimited, ducks unlimited, full curl society, houndsmen, frog lovers, grass watchers, friends of the rock, downhill running water appreciation society, airbreathers assoc., blue sky watchers, and every other group are given their 25 tags, they killed every breeding pair on the mountain. In fact, to compromise wolves will be put on the Manti. They will starve to death, unless they can eat bark beetles, and therefore the government will decide Utah can't support wolves. But see the genius of the DWR doing this is that first, we can do away with the wolf idea, second, and this one is a SFW plan, by completly tagging out the Manti with organization tags, the Pahvant will made better, doesn't this make perfect sense? In truth though, I have seen a 400 or better bull, but for some damn reason he lives on a farm, and that 10 ft fence is too hard to climb.
