Looks like the Elk Committee is going to recommend that Archery and Muzzleloader elk tags be increased. Rifle tags would be decreased by about 5%. Age objectives will be raised on some units. The 3-4 age objective units will be raised to 4-5. They are trying hard to increase quality as well as opportunity. The opportunity for premium ( 7.5-8 age objective ) LE permits will go down. Hunting in the rut will also be modified.

I hope they do not go overboard on archery tags.
It is crowded enough with 1 tag holder and 4-5-6 other guys in camp helping out.....
I like having a few more tags per LE bow unit but not an overwheliming amount more.
Slow and low and steady increase would be wonderful.
