Season Dilema 1st Week v.s. 2nd Week

I'm wondering if anyone has thoughts, ideas, or perspective on hunting the first week of Mule Deer season in the Northern half of Wyoming; October 1st to 7th, as compared to the second week 8th to the 15th.

Several questions:

Weather change, the averages from the weather channel show a decrease of 5 degrees average temp for the two weeks and peak/low average change of 7 degrees. I'm sure from year to year the change can be significant. Is there much difference in the two weeks.

Is there much difference in the behavior of Bucks on public tracts?

Is there much difference in the number of hunters afield??

I wouldn't worry much about weather. It does cool off, but averages don't always mean much. The big factor is hunter pressure. If you are going on public land, I'd suggest the second week. You'll see far fewer hunters and have a better experience. If you are going on private property with limited access, be first to look over the deer. Good luck.

Tx much for the response. Kind of what we thought, we even noticed a difference from the beginning of the week to the end of the week last year.

Tx
