That looks like a King's reproduction of the New Mexico buck with the cracked skull.
It is potentially the largest N/T of all time if I'm not mistaken.

One of the most impressive Non-typical mule deer ever. Killed by an Indian hunter back in the early 1900s. If not for repair of some broken tips it could be a world record.

This buck I think was featured in the kings calendar about 5 years ago. I believe the story went it was shot by an indian back in the early 1900's. Like HH said the skull was cracked. To my knowledge and the way kings told the story the rack is real, but who knows.
