Colorado Deer /Elk season

Does deer and elk hunting coincide in every unit? specificly 43,65....
I will be hunting the archery season

The archery and muzzleloader seasons are the same. The first rifle season is elk only. The second and third seasons have both deer and elk seasons. Some units have fourth Deer seasons and some don't. If the deer count was 25 bucks to 100 does after the season, 3 years in a row, the unit has a fourth deer season. In a few units you can draw both archery deer and elk tags with no points. Check out their web site to find out which units you can get both tags in without any points.

The archery deer and elk seasons are concurrent. You can purchase the elk tag OTC, but you will have to apply and draw for a deer tag. The application deadline is April 4, good luck!
