here are some pictures of a colorado bull that has been hanging around my house most of the winter. the before and after pictures were taken from my house.his antlers and his beds & feeding area the last three days were all in a 40 acre area.

this last monday he still had both antlers

wednesday morning and they are both gone just two red holes where they where

I found his right side in a bed in the snow an hour later

and his left side where he was feeding less than a 1/4 mi. away

and here is the set back together again later that morning
 
That a great way to keep them together. How's the elk in your area doing. He looks like he doing well.

the elk are doing fine this winter. it started out mild with out a lot of snow however there are less elk this year as the elk numbers have been declining the last 3 years mainly because the D O W has been selling too many cow & either sex tags with early and late cow seasons and they certainly don't want the public and especially the non residents to know this or to cut tags & seasons back for fear of the loss of revenue in my opinion.
 
Looks like 3-25-10 according to the date that he started the post.
