Elk/Lope meat hunt

I am wanting to put together an OTC elk / antelope meat hunt somewhere in Western US, probably ID or WY any suggestions helpful just looking for an Over The Counter lic for Elk and Antelope 2010

I think you will probably be out of luck for over the counter elk in WY. I don't think they have many leftover tags in areas with public access and the draw is over. Antelope is another thing they have lots of those tags in WY you just have to figure out an area that has some walk in areas, hunter management areas or other good public access. They will have a leftover draw for antelope this summer so you have time. I don't know much about ID but they have over the counter 2nd and 3rd season elk tags in CO. I have heard that it can be a zoo depending on the area. I have hunted Antelope in areas 45 and 46 or 48 and had success both times. Just a matter of getting close enough.

In Montana you can get elk B (cow) cow tags and 900 series (multi region archery) antelope tags OTC and they are cheap tags - $205 for goats and $278 for elk.

Be aware that there are limited and unlimited elk B tags. Limited tags are by draw, unlimited are OTC.
