3025 Late unit 8 rifle

Who else drew 3025? I just got relocated from AZ to Alabama, and finally drew my tag. I will be making the long drive without my hunting partner (my wife) for the 1st time in a long time. Would like to find some fellow MM's to meet up with.

Been successful in 8 twice in the past, can I go for a 3rd?

My hunting partner and I will be down there, and also Predator off of MM. I have hunted it 3 years ago with my son helping as my packer, and this year he will be along again. May have to bring in the other son to help out also. Three bulls will be some serious work, no matter how much help there is! Will stay in Williams, and day hunt from town each day. Learned quite a few good spots last time.

It is good talking to you in PM about the unit archerelk. I have the earlier Oct hunt but I will have fresh information from this year to share with you. It will be good for both of us. I will visit the unit at least once well before the season.
Blank, I need to recruit my son and some other strong backs and legs for this hunt also. Free transportation, room and board in a wall tent should do it, I hope

I drew the unit in sept for archery, have had a few friends hunt there before. I'm sure we'll all have fun whatever the outcome. good luck.

I hunted 8 last year (archery) and shot an ok bull. 8 is a great unit with some great potential if you can spend the time to scout. My problem last year was the amount of people just wandering around and road hunting, it was amazing. They were everywhere and at the worst possible times. That coupled with the rut starting way late and the extra 75 tags was not helpful. But this should be a good year given the amount of snow. Good luck and post a picture of a toad!
