Dad and I are applying for Elk and Moose in Utah. Point for Mule Deer in Wyoming. Point for Mule Deer in Colorado. Trying to draw Elk, Mule Deer, Antelope and Sheep in Nevada. Truing to draw Deer, Antelope, Sheep and point for Elk in Oregon. Trying to Draw Elk, Mule Deer, Antelope and Sheep in California.

Good Luck to everybody out there, I truly hope you get the tags you want.

I don't have any qualms about telling you before the deadline! Points for elk and deer and a cow tag. If I don't get the cow tag, I will do OTC archery elk.

Rackmaster.. How old is your son? If you are from Kalif, I'm curious what junior tags (deer) you put your son in for. I've been stuck on a Nov/Dec blacktail hunt for several years but he can't seem to draw. I'm also not sure how the first tag, second tag works in respect to points in Ca. A friend's son has drawn this hunt twice in the last 3 years, he claims on his second app.I've put my son in for the same tag on his second App the same 3 years and 0 tags. He does have 1 point on his first tag option. Should I use this first tag option w/point to apply for the junior tag?

Also. If you are interested in a youth elk hunt in Utah, i could e-mail you info on the Utah youth tag. Its far easier for a non-resident youth (2.5to1)than a resident youth (15to1)to draw.

I'll be hunting around home in Wyoming for deer, antelope and hopefully elk. And maybe a sheep or goat if the draw gods smile on me.

I'm also in the draw for deer in Colorado and Utah. And I have a muley hunt in Alberta set.

I have 3 points in Nevada and will possibly buy another point there, too. But I won't have time to go there.

My son just turned 12, X7b has a jr hunt, I like Lake Sonoma(LOTS OF HOGS TOO!). And Santa Clara has a new hunt at some egological refuge that will not have much attenion!

So here what my buddie Glenn from Fish and Game said about how jr hunts application work....jr points are jr points!
1st buy two tags(1st choice and 2nd choice tags).
fill out 1st choice as though I was wanted to make it a party
or what every my son wanted to draw or get points!
(so I will put in for both of us in an "x"zone as 1st choice!)..
then on my sons 2nd tag pick the JR hunt choices or "A","B","C",or "D" ZONE(I have a ranch in Sonoma he can hunt not me! but yes I can guide him only!)
Glenn also said about a 3rd of the jrs are going roll over to adults this year weird huh!

their a JR stinky GOAT hunt or two also!
