The French have been selling to Iraq!

It was published today in the Washington Times that the French have been selling helicopter parts and other such things to the Iraqis for several months now. Parts that will be used against US soldiers in Iraq. We should just ignore France and not even acknowledge their existance.

After we kick Sadaam out of Iraq, we need to kick the U.N. out of NY. It is an outrage that we need to get permission from some other country to look out for our best interest. We are now trying to convince Chile and Camaroon to "allow" us to defend our own country.

A respectful correction Deserbull;

We do not NEED to get some other country's permission to protect our interests. We can & will do it with or without the French & other fence sitters. Clinton didn't ask for permission to start bomging Kosovo because he knew that Russia & others would veto it. We went at that one on our own (with some support from key allies), and we should do this one on our own as well.

For some reason, Bush & Powell feel like they want the UN behind them when before we take the plunge. They need to stop worrying about the UN & just do it!

I didn't mean that we need the permission, what I really meant is that the rest of the world "thinks" we need their permission. I have no doubt that we will do it with or without the UN, I think the President would like to have the UN's support for polital reasons and to help share the cost.
Either way, the French are selling equipment that will be used against American troops, that makes them the enemy in my book.

I'am a little late on this one. But remember back in 1981 when Isreal bomb the Iraqi nuclear plant? There was only one person killed in the bombing. A French scientist helping them develop nuclear capabilities. SO screw those ***** ass frenchies!

Howdy,

Folks, don't get too nasty toward the French and Russians just yet. They are just trying to "save face!" They know we will find PROOF of weapons of mass destruction and chemical weapons, mostly made with toolings and equipment provided by them.

As soon as we find that so called "smoking-gun" they will reluctantly climb on board with the U.S. or they will face their own absurdly deserved pasting by World Opinion!!!

Right now they are between a rock and a hard place. I hope it heats up so much that they have to capitulate immediately!!!!

a guy sent me a picture from like 1979 the other day. it was of saddam at the iraqi nuke plant that israel blew up before they could put it on line and make plutonium. guess who's standing next to him? jaque shirac. the current frog prime minister. helicopter parts is nothing. they've also supplied most of the technology and materials to build the chemical and bio weapons. read the other day that as much as 10% of france's economy is based on iraqi money. them, the germans, russians, china and north korea have all been selling them stuff in violation of the UN sanctions that they voted yes on. this war is gonna be a long hard deal and we will end up fighting the whole world in one way or another before it's over. but it's dang sure time to see who are really our allies. HOO-RAH!!!
