Arizona 6A North Archery

Was wondering were the best place to camp or stay when I begin my scouting and hunting for this hunt. Was checking out the cabin's at Mormon Lake and they seem pretty nice and very close to the hunting area. I also have the option of pulling my trailer and camp. What are your thoughts. Thanks

LAST EDITED ON Apr-02-10 AT 10:09PM (MST)[p]Great Tag , I cant spell, congradulations. All about how much time for scouting and if you have hunted there before. Its a big unit and I'll help you if I can. I have been there 3 out of the last 4 years on rifle hunts and know the unit pretty well.

I would prefer to camp for the experience and be closer to the hunt area to reduce driving time.

If you do wish to "motel it," you can also check out the accomodations in Munds Park/Pinewood.
