Considering the the .235 or the .270 gr Barnes TSX.

Thoughts on terminal performance from close range to 400 yards?

Double Tap loads both these and Sako loads the .270 gr only.

Anyone with experience with ammo from these companies regarding accuracy in stated velocity, consistency, etc?

Thx
Bill

The 235 grain Double tap is very accurate in my TC Encore.Under an inch at 100 yards . Never chronographed them. Went through a couple of boxes and all where shooters.

When using something like a .375 H&H, terminal performance of all bullets (designed for the .375 H&H, not lesser .375's) is good on elk. Accuracy and trajectory are all you need to worry about. It's pretty much assumed that it's for big game by the bullet manfacturer if it's for a cartrige like that...

I get excellent results from my 300 rum using Double Tap ammo. I am shooting a 200gr accubond. I think double tap is good stuff.
