CREDIT CARD HIT!!!!!!!

I got email notice of a $280 hit to my credit card this morning. I'm thinking Monroe muzzle loader Elk. YA HOO! 13 stinkin years to draw, but this is the year. I've been to the area quite a few times, but any pointers or hot spots would be welcome information. Now the work begins with maps, planning, scouting, scouting, and more scouting.

Sweet that will be an awesome hunt. I did that as my second choice, and went Pahvant instead. I am still in school so I don't have time to hunt it right now as is. Have a blast, and post your pics.

Dillon, thanks for the congrats. I'll be sure to post everything I can on this hunt. I've been putting in for the Pahvant for alot of years, not expecting to ever draw that hunt. This year I decided to try for a tag that is "easier" to get (Ya, right, 13 bonus points and still 10:1 odds). Well I'll be heading up in the next few weeks to do some shed hunting. I hope to find some nice ones before everyone else gets up there in the snow (maybe I'm too late). I had the NR muzzy tag in there last year. I would be willing to share the info I learned. Dates are a little later this year but you will still have a blast.

Royaltine6, I would love to hear from you about your experiences. I was thinking that the end of September would be good for having the Herd bulls in charge. Any earlier, and the younger bulls are still trying to hold cows. Any thoughts?
